Snow, Corn, and a Certain Mashup

What do they all have in common?  They are all flakes, the mashup being http://www.pageflakes.com

I am always on the lookout for new ways to keep up with current technologies, and Pageflakes is definitely a site that serves a few purposes for me in this respect.  One, I needed a new way to keep track of my RSS feeds.  Enter Pageflakes!  Two, I am getting this new book soon (book cover below); and I needed something live to follow it with.  I know the book actually uses http://dropthings.com, but, I wanted something that was live and that I might also use. Enter Pageflakes again! The last purpose that Pageflakes serves is, well, it's cool!  The best part about it for me is that the book is set within the ASP.NET 3.5, .NET 3.5, and C# context.

The site is, IMO, definitely worth a look, at least!  The book is, well, I'm getting it...'nuf said from my end.

You should also check out http://www.netvibes.com I don't believe it's a ASP.NET page but it does have some pretty cool concepts.

Very nice, Rob. I vaguely remember seeing that somewhere, but, it is absolutely a site to keep track of and use. I suspect they are using PHP for their development. Their job postings allude to that.

Thanks!
